SERVERS Reports to: Baristas / Operations Manager Department: Food & Beverage Role Overview: The Server delivers impeccable table service and helps sustain the Café’s refined, welcoming atmosphere. They are responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, from greeting to farewell, with attentiveness, composure, and quiet confidence. This role goes beyond serving food and beverages; it’s about embodying the 143 standards of mindful hospitality, where every detail, tone, and movement reinforces calm sophistication and genuine care. Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience • Welcome and seat guests with warmth, composure, and grace. • Present menus, describe specials, and provide thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences or wellness goals. • Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of all food and beverage items. • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and respond promptly to requests or concerns. • Anticipate guest needs, refilling water, clearing tables, or offering additional items without being intrusive. • Maintain a calm, professional demeanor, even during busy service hours. Collaboration & Team Coordination • Communicate clearly with Baristas, kitchen, and support staff to ensure seamless service flow. • Coordinate table timings and service order to maintain consistent guest pacing and satisfaction. • Support Baristas during high-volume periods by assisting with clearing, plating, or light preparation. • Participate in team briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards. Cleanliness & Aesthetic Standards • Maintain spotless and visually appealing dining areas, tables, chairs, counters, and service stations. • Reset tables promptly and neatly between guests. • Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food-handling protocols at all times. • Uphold the 143 aesthetic by ensuring every table setup, tray, and presentation reflects simplicity and elegance. Sales & Administrative Tasks • Handle bills and payments accurately through the Café’s POS system. • Maintain accountability for cash and card transactions. • Promote Café specials, retail items, or membership perks in a genuine, informative manner. • Support Café events, private sessions, and wellness activations as needed. Qualifications & Experience: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in restaurant, boutique café, or hospitality service. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural sense of warmth and professionalism. • Strong multitasking, coordination, and time management abilities. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure. • Familiarity with POS systems and basic payment handling. • Deep appreciation for wellness, hospitality, and mindful service. • Positive attitude, team spirit, and a calm, polished presence.
