We're seeking Quantity Surveyors to optimize the efficiency, affordability, and safety of our
projects. This role involves vital contributions to the Cost Value Reconciliation process, Risk
Assessments, and Method Statements. Our ideal Quantity Surveyors are experts in
construction, offering specialized guidance, including Life Cycle Costing for ongoing project
financial evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with clients to discern their requirements and reviewing areas for potential
cost or feasibility improvements.
- Estimating material quantities, labor expenses, and a feasible project timeline.
- Negotiating labor agreements and schedules.
- Providing legal guidance to clients and the workforce, addressing disputes if they arise.
- Overseeing subcontractors, safety protocols, project advancement, and material
requisites, including factors influencing costs.
- Compiling labor and supplier invoices for payment.
- Generating comprehensive reports outlining project costs and progress for clients.
Qualifications and Abilities
- Minimum of a HND/ BSC in Quantity Surveying or related fields.
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience in related fields with a minimum of 5 years preferred.
- Profound understanding of engineering science, construction, and technology.
- Knowledge of contemporary building codes and health and safety regulations.
- Computer proficiency, including a solid command of office and electronic project
management applications.
