POSITION TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
UNIT: ADMINISTRATIVE/OPERATIONS

WORK HOURS: MON-SAT:8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
 
Overview
Working under the supervision of the floor manager, responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality level by overseeing staff and steps involved in production processes. He ensures that products meet high-quality standards and are ready for sale and distribution in the factory, and serves as a supervisory officer to the quality control team and tailors.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1. Supervising and guiding tailors, quality control team, and others
2. Understanding product standards and specifications and communicating them to the production team. ( tailors, production assistants, and managers).
3. Creating quality policies and procedures for the team to follow.
4. Monitoring all products development procedures to make sure they follow quality standards
5. Ensuring production lines are efficient
6. Inspecting, accepting, or rejecting the final product
7. Ensuring production processes follow legal and environmental and internal regulations
8. Find ways to improve the production process so the company can maximize resources and produce better products.
9. Documenting findings and submitting reports.
 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
 
1. Develop, manage and implement a quality plan to ensure a standard quality system in the company
2. Effectively interact with tailors and production assistants to ensure and maintain quality
3. Request access to records like measurements and designs to ensure that products meet specifications
4. Create quality check procedures for the team to follow
5. Input all products at all stages of production to ensure that due processes are being followed and that products meet quality specifications.
6. Review measurements, workmanship, fitting, accessorizing, designs, etc., and give comments on the production
7. Creation of report schedule
8. Accept, reject, and give approval for finished products
9. Maintain all discipline and compliance issues
10. Lead all quality control team
11. Ultimately ensure final product quality.
 
 
 
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
1. Great communication skills
2. Must be attentive to details
3. Great leadership skills
4. Must be able to meet up with deadlines, hence the need to have great time management skills
5. Technicality: to make sure the product meets high-quality standards the QC manager must understand the technicality of the production processes.
6. Must be fashion inclined
7. Familiarity with fashion terminologies
8. Extremely knowledgeable about fashion business and industry
9. Fashion industry work experience
10. Ability to use record-keeping tools such as Microsoft Office apps and google workspace
11. Well-knowledgeable about techniques and method
 
 
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
 
4. High school diploma
5. Completed degree
6. The willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations as well as the regulations established by the company itself.
