Production Manager

A company specialized in Cabinetry, Upholstery, Natural Wood Products and Metal Works will be moving from bespoke business model to standardized business model. We require an experienced Production Manager who understands the nitty-gritty of the aforementioned product lines and can effectively handle this role and ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. Responsibilities:  Lead all the factory activities, medium to large scale joinery, upholstery, natural wood and metal works projects including Planning, production, maintenance and supervision.  planning and organizing and develop production schedules and establish procedures for maintaining high standard of fabrication and measure progress  assessing project and resource requirements  estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and manager.  Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.  determining quality control standards  Use hand tools to trim pieces or assemble product.  Understand detailed architectural drawings and other drawing  listen for unusual sound or detect excessive vibration in machinery  select and adjust the proper cutting, milling, boring and standard tools for completing a job  overseeing cabinetry, joinery, natural wood, upholstery and metal works production processes  Control store assets and coordinate procurement.  Manage Factory resources (Manpower and Machines)  re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary  selecting and ordering materials  ensure that safety gadgets and materials are worn at all times during production  organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment  liaising with marketing and sales staff  Guide and supervise the work of junior staff and apprentice in your care  organizing relevant training sessions  visit customer sites for measurement and designs when necessary use dimensions/floor plan, 3D, 2D, rendering for furniture, joinery and building modification projects  show customers what their design would look like in 3D  Serve as a liaison between the organization and her customer on design.  Engage, supervise and monitor all sub-contractor/workmen involved in all projects assigned to you  Contribute to customer growth  Source and submit all required information by management  Represent the company when and where required.
