Furniture sprayer

JOB DESCRIPTION AND SKILLS FOR WOOD SPRAYERS
• Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
• Examine furniture to determine the extent of damage or deterioration, and to decide on the best method for repair or restoration.
• Fill and smooth cracks or depressions, remove marks and imperfections, and repair broken parts, using plastic or wood putty, glue, nails, and/or screws.
• Follow blueprints to produce specific designs
• Cleaning up spray cans, nozzles and other spraying equipments after each spray job
• Mixing and matching paints and colors to meet the texture and look required for the project
• Working with other professionals such as, carpenters and machinist when necessary.

Requirements
• Must have a minimum SSCE/Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in spraying furniture
• Have a quality control assurance skill
• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques
• Ability to see subtle color differences.
• Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
• Ability to work with acid and harsh chemicals.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
