Creative assistant/Brand development Manager

Job Summary We’re seeking a Fashion Design Assistant/ Brand development manager to join our team and work directly with our creative director. You will lead the design and development of our regal womenswear collections ensuring they align with our brand’s aesthetic and vision. From initial sketch to production, you will bring creativity , innovation, precision, and a deep understanding of the luxury market to shape the brand’s identity. Responsibilities Assist in designing and developing seasonal collections alongside the Creative Director, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision and aesthetic. Lead the creative vision, designing standout pieces that define luxury womenswear. Transform concepts, sketches, and mood boards into CAD designs and detailed tech packs is a plus . Work closely with the team to create and refine prototypes. Conduct client consultations both online and in person, guiding them through the design and approval process. Oversee fittings, making necessary adjustments to ensure impeccable construction, fit, and finishing. Stay ahead of emerging fashion trends, technologies, and materials to drive innovation. Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and precise sample and product development. Direct and participate in photo shoots, fashion shows, presentations, and brand events to showcase collections. Research trends, fabrics, and silhouettes to inspire fresh design concepts. Source fabrics and materials that align with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. Maintain and organize sample archives for efficient tracking and reference. Work with stockists during buyers’ meetings to present and promote collections. Support the development of marketing and promotional materials to highlight collections to potential clients and buyers. Provide client services, including consultations, design approvals, and fittings. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design. Knowledge of AI fashion design is a plus . 1 - 2 years of experience, preferably with a womenswear brand. A strong portfolio showcasing past work or university projects.A deep passion for fashion, with a keen eye for aesthetics, fit, and craftsmanship. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking. A team player with the confidence to work independently. Strong knowledge of fabric sourcing, garment construction, and pattern making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong time management abilities.
