Pattern Drafting & Cutting: Develop and modify patterns based on measurements or client body types. Skilled in accurate cutting and preparation of fabric for flawless tailoring. Fabric Knowledge & Selection: Advise clients on suitable fabrics based on garment type, season, or occasion. Able to work with all types of materials—cotton, silk, wool, lace, denim, linen, and more. Hand and Machine Stitching: Proficient in operating domestic and industrial sewing machines, overlockers, and pressing equipment. Also skilled in delicate hand-stitching and finishing for fine garments. Traditional & Cultural Attire: Experienced in tailoring traditional garments (e.g., agbada, kaftan, sarees, abayas, etc.), maintaining cultural integrity while enhancing modern fit and comfort. Client Consultation & Measurement: Take accurate measurements, provide style advice, and conduct fittings to ensure the garment aligns with the client's expectations and body shape. Quality Control & Finishing: Ensure every garment is finished to the highest standard—neatly pressed, fully lined (if needed), with secure stitching and professional detailing. Customer Service & Relationship Building: Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients, delivering on time, and building trust through consistent quality and professionalism.
