As a project manager, i would oversee projects through the project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, and closure. To ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, i will take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including: Defining the scope of the project Staying on schedule Planning a project’s cost and sticking to a budget Managing project resources (including teams and workers) Documenting the progress of the project Communicating with stakeholders Assessing risks Troubleshooting Leading quality assurance
Support Project Execution •Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities. •Ensure daily construction tasks align with the overall project schedule and goals. Ensure Safety Compliance •Enforce site safety policies and procedures. •Monitor daily activities for HSE compliance in coordination with safety officers. Quality Control •Oversee quality assurance practices and ensure construction standards are met. •Support inspections and testing to verify conformance to specifications. Monitor Progress and Performance •Track project milestones and report on progress. •Address delays or deviations from the schedule by coordinating corrective actions. Team Supervision and Coordination •Supervise site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors. •Coordinate between disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to prevent clashes or bottlenecks. Resource Management •Assist in managing labor, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity. •Help plan resource allocation according to construction phases. Stakeholder Communication •Represent the Construction Manager in meetings when required. •Communicate with engineers, consultants, and client representatives to resolve site issues. Support Documentation and Reporting •Maintain site records, progress reports, and daily logs. •Assist with RFI responses, change orders, and site memos. Contractor and Vendor Oversight •Ensure subcontractors adhere to schedule, specs, and site rules. •Monitor deliveries and use of construction materials. Prepare for Handover •Support the close-out process including punch lists, testing & commissioning, and as-built documentation.
