We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Unisex Tailor capable of cutting, stitching, and finishing high-quality garments for both male and female clients. The ideal candidate must excel in pattern interpretation, precise body measurement, structural tailoring (suits, trousers, dresses), and impeccably sharp garment finishing. Key ResponsibilitiesMale Apparel:Cut, construct, and sew formal wear, including 2-piece and 3-piece suits, blazers, and trousers. Craft tailored shirts, native/traditional wear (e.g., Senator), and custom outerwear. Female Apparel:Cut and tailor structured corporate suits (pantsuits, skirt suits, blazers), formal gowns, jumpsuits, and blouses. Work with corsetry, lining, darts, shoulder padding, and female-specific fitting techniques. General Duties:Consult with clients or design lead to interpret style sketches, photos, or reference briefs. Take accurate male and female body measurements and calculate fabric requirements. Draft patterns, cut fabric cleanly, and execute complete assembly from scratch. Conduct fittings, assess garment balance, and perform precise alterations/adjustments as required. Manage iron pressing, thread trimming, labeling, and final quality control to ensure clean finishing. Maintain sewing equipment, manage production timelines, and adhere to strict delivery deadlines. Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience as a professional unisex tailor, dressmaker, or sample maker. Technical Mastery: Expertise in both male and female pattern drafting, cutting, stitching, and structured tailoring (e.g., suit lining, chest canvassing). Fashion Sense: Ability to interpret design sketches, suggest suitable fabrics, and stay updated on modern fashion trends. Skills: Excellent hand-eye coordination
