Job Title: Carpenter

Responsibilities:
1. Construct and assemble wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures according to project specifications.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to determine materials and dimensions.
3. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
4. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and built-in furniture.
5. Collaborate with other team members, including architects and designers, to ensure project requirements are met.
6. Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and fixtures.
7. Sand and finish completed projects to achieve a smooth and polished appearance.
8. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
9. Adhere to safety standards and guidelines while working on construction sites.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in the construction or woodworking industry.
2. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans accurately.
4. Strong knowledge of different wood types, materials, and construction techniques.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Physical stamina to handle the demands of carpentry work.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
