OBA is seeking an experienced, independent tailor to join our network of trusted production partners. This is a remote, outsourced role, you'll work from your own fully equipped studio or workshop, producing high-quality, made-to-measure and ready-to-wear pieces for our luxury fashion line. We're looking for someone who takes pride in precision, finishing, and craftsmanship, and who can be relied upon to deliver consistently professional work with minimal supervision. What You'll Be Making You'll produce a range of garments across our collections, including: Ready-to-wear pieces — dresses, blouses, and trousers Corsetry — structured, well-boned corsets requiring precision fitting Traditional wear — Adire, Aso oke and Ankara boubous, gowns, and accessories Custom pieces made from OBA's own patterns and specifications Who We're Looking For A skilled, experienced tailor with a strong portfolio of finished work across multiple garment types (not just one specialty) Someone with their own dedicated workspace, sewing machines, overlockers, and all tools necessary to produce professional-grade garments independently Confident working from supplied patterns, spec sheets, and technical instructions ,able to interpret and execute designs faithfully Experience with corsetry and structured garments is essential (boning, binding, precision seaming) Comfortable working with a variety of fabrics, including delicate and traditional textiles (Adire, Ankara, Aso-oke) Highly organised, deadline-driven, and communicative, able to give realistic timelines and flag issues early Meticulous attention to finishing: seams, hems, closures, and overall construction quality must meet a luxury standard
