Job Title Quality Control and Operations Manager Reports To: Creative Lead Mrs B Working Relationships: Clients Production Team (Beaders and Tailors) Creative Assistant Position Description: Handle all things production to ensure outfits are delivered at the best standards before deadlines in the most cost effective manner Key Responsibilities: 1) Monitor Production Team and explain their tasks to them. 2) Ensure output is at the standard it should be and all details are as they should be in a cost effective manner 3) Liase with creative assistant to thoroughly evaluate inspiration pictures and sketches to ensure all details are understood and thus executed 4) Verify measurements of finished pieces are accurate. 5) Analyse virtual measurements with pictures of international clients to ensure they look accurate as that determines the fitting. 6) Organisation and reporting of inventory. 7) Provide weekly market lists for items needed. 8) Ensure Unity across all departments at Made Pieces. 9) Ensure clients are happy at fittings. 10) Execution of designs in relation to draping and other requirements 11) Detailed notes of issues to be addressed during fittings should be taken and worked on within 48 hours 12) Packing of finished items. 13) Provide daily reports of what every individual has done each day. This should be backed up with pictures 14) Seek contract staff during busy periods to optimize production efficiency Important Attributes: Extremely organized with a good sense of timing Good and clear communication when dealing with clients and other team members Ability to take corrections and make adjustments when negative feedback is received Ability to relate negative feedback with discernment when inadequate work is provided from team members Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): S/n Key Performance Indicators 1 95% efficiency on delivery of outfits as at when due 2 Perfect second fitting 3 Amendments finalized within 48 hours 4 Creating outfit base once to ensure we a thoroughly cost efficient 5 Single market trip a week
