We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garment Cutter & Tailor to join our production team and help bring our creative visions to life. Job Description: As a Garment Cutter & Tailor, you will be responsible for interpreting patterns and sketches, cutting fabrics precisely, and sewing high-quality garments according to design specifications. You will work closely with designers and the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of each piece. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and understand design sketches, technical drawings, and patterns Cut fabrics accurately based on patterns or custom measurements Assemble and sew garments using industrial and domestic sewing machines Make garment adjustments and alterations as needed for proper fit Maintain high-quality stitching, finishing, and garment construction standards Collaborate with designers and other team members to meet production deadlines Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace Stay updated with new tailoring techniques and industry trends Requirements: Proven experience (5+ years) as a tailor and garment cutter in a fashion or tailoring environment Strong knowledge of pattern drafting, fabric types, and garment construction Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other garment-making tools Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of quality control Ability to work with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines Good communication and teamwork skills
