Now Hiring: Live-in Chef Location: Akure, Ondo State We are seeking a skilled and versatile Live-in Chef to join our team in Akure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of high-quality Nigerian and international (intercontinental) dishes, while maintaining excellent kitchen standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare daily meals, incorporating both Nigerian and international cuisines Ensure all meals are prepared to a high standard of taste, nutrition, and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times Manage inventory, food supplies, and kitchen equipment, including procurement and stock control Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients Requirements Proven experience as a Chef (preferably in a private home, high-end restaurant, or hotel) Strong expertise in both Nigerian and international cuisines Ability to prepare a wide variety of dishes, including continental meals, pastries, and healthy options Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen best practices Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and maintain consistency in quality High level of professionalism, discretion, and cleanliness Good communication and interpersonal skills Food Hygiene Certification (Level 2 or higher) is an added advantage Additional Requirements (Important for Live-in Role) Willingness to reside on-site (accommodation provided) Candidates willing to relocate to Akure are encouraged to apply Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required Must be trustworthy, reliable, and respectful Ability to adapt to household preferences and routines Application If you are an experienced Chef looking for a new opportunity, kindly send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to hiringspot1@gmail.com
