The ideal candidate will translate design sketches into accurate, well-fitting patterns that guide the production of high-quality women’s wear pieces. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Interpret design sketches and translate them into precise paper or digital patterns. • Develop base patterns and adapt them for various sizes and styles. • Ensure patterns are technically accurate and production-ready. • Collaborate with the designer and machinists during sampling and fitting. • Make necessary adjustments based on feedback to ensure correct fit and balance. • Maintain pattern archives for consistency and future reference. ⸻ Requirements - Reverence for the craft • Team spirit and good communication skills. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pattern drafting for women’s wear. • Strong knowledge of pattern construction, grading, and garment fit. • Ability to work from design sketches or samples. • Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. • Proficiency in manual pattern drafting (digital skills are a plus). ⸻ What We Offer • Commission-based pay structure. • Accommodation available (for a female candidate). • Opportunity to work with a creative brand committed to craftsmanship and growth.
