Expert Bridal/Wedding Dress Tailor

We are looking for an exceptionally skilled Bridal Tailor with deep expertise in crafting high-quality wedding dresses. The ideal candidate must be precise, creative, and experienced in working with luxury fabrics, embellishments, and couture-level finishing. They will work closely with our Creative Director to bring each bridal design to life with excellence, fit accuracy, and top-tier craftsmanship. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Dress Construction & Sewing • Cut, sew, and construct wedding dresses from scratch using approved patterns and sketches. • Work with delicate and luxury fabrics such as satin, lace, tulle, chiffon, organza, silk, and mikado. • Execute clean finishing, boning, corsetry, hand-stitching, and detailed couture techniques. 2. Fittings & Adjustments • Conduct professional fittings with clients. • Take accurate measurements and make precise alterations for a perfect fit. • Ensure the final garment sits flawlessly on the client. 3. Design Interpretation • Understand sketches, moodboards, and technical sheets from the Creative Director. • Suggest improvements on structure, fabric choices, and finishing where necessary. • Translate design concepts into high-quality final garments. 4. Quality Control • Maintain the highest sewing and finishing standards. • Ensure every wedding dress passes internal quality checks before delivery. • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of fabrics and materials. 5. Collaboration & Time Management • Work closely with the creative and production teams. • Meet set deadlines for bridal pieces, especially during peak bridal seasons. • Communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and material needs. 6. Creativity & Problem Solving • Offer solutions during the dress-making process. • Modify or upgrade designs while maintaining brand standards when necessary. • Stay updated with modern bridal tailoring techniques. ⸻ Requirements • Minimum 5+ years experience sewing or constructing wedding dresses. • Strong knowledge of couture sewing techniques. • Ability to work under pressure and maintain excellence. • Strong attention to detail and finishing. • Good communication and measurement skills.
