Location: Nigeria Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled and responsible Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating bullion vans and escort Hilux pickups to safely transport cash and other valuables between locations. The role requires professionalism, alertness, and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities • Safely drive and operate bullion vans or escort Hilux pickups during cash movements. • Ensure the security of the vehicle, cargo, and personnel at all times. • Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company security protocols. • Perform basic vehicle checks before and after trips, including engine oil, brakes, tires, and fuel levels. • Identify and report minor vehicle faults and assist in troubleshooting when necessary. • Maintain situational awareness and coordinate effectively with armed security personnel. • Ensure proper documentation of trip records, vehicle logs, and incident reports. • Comply with company policies regarding cash handling, emergency response, and communication procedures. • Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations or security threats. • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in security, logistics, or cash-in-transit services. • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. • Valid driver’s license (Class C or above) and a clean driving record. • Basic knowledge of vehicle fault troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. • Must be physically fit and able to handle demanding driving conditions. • Membership of Lagos state drivers institute is a plus • Member of Supernumerary Police (SPY) is an advantage • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and react swiftly in emergencies. • Must be between 25 and 45 years old. • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent. • Prior experience in a security-related role is an added advantage. Additional Preferences • Training in defensive driving or security escort driving is a plus. • Familiarity with local and interstate road networks. • Ability to communicate effectively in English and local languages.
