Design Assistant

This role is responsible for Creating samples fit for production. This include Pattern making, testing the patterns, alterations to patterns and existing designs, designing garments and overseeing embellishers.

• Analyzing Designs for sampling

• Accurately interpreting customers'/ model measurements, instructions, and preferences.

• Creating patterns and testing them by stitching them

• Testing Details.

• Modifying garments according to Lead Designer’s instructions, which includes and is not limited to tapering pant legs, lining sheer garments, removing pockets, and adding padding, adding design details to the garment

• Meeting with the Tailors to agree on the best way to stitch instructions at followed perfectly as seen in the spec sheet. 

• Checking the stitching process to ensure that all the design features are followed correctly and the design

• Designing the garment in line with the design details.

• Overseeing the Embellishers.
