Busness Development Manager

Job Description: Business Development Manager We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our bakery, cakes, and dessert company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and creating strategies to increase sales and market share. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Strategy -Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve company growth objectives. -Identify and explore new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships, particularly in the food, hospitality, and retail sectors. -Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt business strategies accordingly. -Create proposals and pitch decks to present to potential partners and clients. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management -Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, event planners, and wholesale buyers. -Develop customized solutions and pricing strategies to meet client needs and close deals. -Manage client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. 3. Sales Growth -Drive sales by expanding the company’s presence in existing markets and penetrating new ones. -Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to maximize revenue. -Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns that boost brand awareness and sales. 4. Operational Collaboration -Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. -Communicate client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of products and services. 5. Reporting & Analytics -Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement. -Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and revenue forecasts. -Set and track performance metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Key Skills: -Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. -Excellent negotiation and communication skills. -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. -Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. -Knowledge of the bakery, desserts, and food industry is a strong advantage. -Proficiency in CRM tools and -Microsoft Office Suite. -Knowledge of digital marketing /social media Personal Attributes: -Self-motivated and results-oriented. -Strong organizational and time-management skills. -Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. -Passion for food, desserts, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
