Operations Assistant/Associate

About the Role

This is a multifaceted support role for someone who loves keeping things organized, moving, and on time—whether it’s behind the scenes of a business or in someone’s daily life. You’ll be assisting a high-performing executive who leads multiple initiatives and needs hands-on support across daily tasks, team coordination, and personal logistics.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proactive. You’ll serve as a key support system, keeping internal operations on track while helping manage the executive’s schedule, hiring pipeline, errands, follow-ups, and documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Operations Support
    •    Ensure internal processes are running smoothly—track timelines, follow-ups, and deadlines
    •    Support hiring by posting roles, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
    •    Coordinate onboarding tasks and keep internal documents up to date
    •    Maintain and organize company files, folders, and digital resources
    •    Communicate with vendors, contractors, or partners as needed
    •    Help implement and improve workflows, reminders, and systems

2. Executive & Admin Assistance
    •    Manage and update the executive’s calendar and reminders
    •    Help prioritize and follow up on messages, calls, and admin tasks
    •    Take meeting notes and prepare to-do lists, summaries, or follow-ups
    •    Draft documents or emails on behalf of the executive
    •    Track recurring tasks and make sure nothing slips through the cracks
    •    Serve as a “second brain” to relieve the mental load of a fast-paced schedule

3. Errands & lLife Management
    •    Occasionally assist with personal errands—deliveries, pickups, or booking appointments
    •    Coordinate travel plans, reservations, or gifts when needed
    •    Liaise with household providers 
    •    Be a reliable point of contact for daily personal and professional needs

Who You Are
    •    A university graduate with strong communication and organizational skills
    •    Exceptionally reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive
    •    Naturally proactive—you follow through without needing to be reminded
    •    Tech-savvy with tools like M365 suite, Sharepoint, Outlook, WhatsApp, etc.
    •    Based in or near Lagos with flexibility to be on-site when needed
    •    Discreet, professional, and able to manage confidential or sensitive tasks
    •    Previous experience in admin, team support, operations, or assistance preferred
