Factory Staff — Role & Job Descriptions (MON 8:30AM – FRIDAY 5:30PM) Monogram / Embroidery Operator (MALE) Purpose: To execute monogramming, embroidery or any embellishment/branding on garments as per design specifications — contributing to the quality, finish, and distinctiveness of your products (especially useful for urban streetwear / branded shirts). Key Responsibilities: • Receive garment pieces according to design order and prepare them for monogramming/embroidery — ensuring pieces match the right size, style, and placement instructions. • Set up and operate monogram/embroidery machines properly — adjust machine settings (thread type, needle, tension, pattern) to suit fabric and design requirements. • Place monogram/embroidery accurately on garments as per the design spec (correct position, orientation, size). • Perform quality check of finished monogram/embroidery: check stitch quality, thread tension, symmetry, secure attachment, clean finish, no loose threads. • Coordinate with tailors / production manager to integrate monogramming step smoothly within the production flow (so monogramming doesn’t become a bottleneck). • Maintain and care for embroidery/monogram machines — clean, oil, and do basic maintenance; report any faults timely to avoid delays. • Adhere to discipline, factory rules, and maintain consistency across batches. Qualifications / Skills: • Experience operating monogram or embroidery machines (industrial embroidery machines preferred). • Attention to detail, neatness, sense of design/placement accuracy. • Basic mechanical aptitude to adjust machine settings and perform simple maintenance. • Ability to follow design specs / instructions precisely. • Teamwork and coordination skills (since monogramming is part of the production chain).
